Bluebird Storage Helps Us Store the Game: A Big Thank You to the Matheson Location!
At Project Skate Hockey Club, our mission is to break down barriers and create opportunities for low-income, racialized, newcomer, and female youth to access Canada’s beloved sport: hockey. With every child that laces up their skates for the first time, we’re reminded of how important community support is in making our program possible.
Today, we want to give a huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Bluebird Storage – Matheson location for stepping up in a big way.
Through their Bluebird Cares Program, they’ve generously provided our nonprofit with a free storage unit for one full year. This space is more than just four walls and a lock — it's where we store the equipment that fuels dreams. Helmets, skates, sticks, jerseys, pads — all the gear that our kids receive free of charge now has a clean, safe, and accessible home.
As our program continues to grow and reach more youth across the Greater Toronto Area, the need for organized, secure equipment storage has never been more important. Thanks to Bluebird Storage, we’re able to efficiently manage and distribute equipment to our participants — ensuring no child is left behind simply because of cost or access.
